Room 1

Room 1 is 15ft x 10ft x 7ft, air-conditioned, and can be used for recording and rehearsals.  There is a large one-way window for natural light to enter the room, another window through to the control room, and another through to the booth.

The Booth

The booth can be used for isolating vocals, instruments or drum kits – it can comfortably house a full 5-piece kit and is fully soundproofed from the adjacent Studio (Room 1).

The Control Room

This is where the recording takes place, the hub of the studio.  The control room and is based around both analogue and digital equipment.  From the control room you can clearly see into the live room through a large glass window.  At the heart of the control room is a 32x8x2 Studiomaster Mixdown Classic 8 Analogue desk, Behringer X32 Desk with Midas Pre-amps, and a MOTU 24i audio interface.

Audio can be recorded onto either a Mac using Logic Studio or PC using Cubase 5 via the excellent MOTU interface.
